Creating a Call Sheet
Creating a call sheet starts by selecting the event and template you want to use. Nexxus then uses the selected event’s information to automatically populate available data.
1. Select an Event
Section titled “1. Select an Event”Choose the event that the call sheet belongs to.
The event is used as the source for automatically populated information.
2. Select a Template
Section titled “2. Select a Template”Choose the template you want to use for the call sheet.
If a default template has been configured, it will be selected automatically.
The template provides the initial sections and fields for the call sheet.
3. Configure the Call Sheet
Section titled “3. Configure the Call Sheet”After selecting the event and template, you can customize the call sheet for the production.
You can:
- Edit section information.
- Add images to sections.
- Enable or disable sections.
- Modify field values.
- Add or update call sheet information.
The information automatically populated from the event can be reviewed and adjusted as needed.
4. Choose the View Mode
Section titled “4. Choose the View Mode”Call sheets can be displayed using one of two layouts:
- Tabs — Organizes sections into separate tabs.
- Single Page — Displays all enabled sections on one page.
Choose the layout that best fits your call sheet.
5. Preview the Call Sheet
Section titled “5. Preview the Call Sheet”The call sheet includes a live preview while you edit it.
Changes are reflected in the preview as you add or modify information, allowing you to review how the final call sheet will look before publishing.
6. Save or Publish
Section titled “6. Save or Publish”When you’re finished configuring the call sheet, you can either:
- Draft — Save the call sheet as a draft to keep working on it later.
- Published — Publish the call sheet to finalize it and make it available for sharing.
Publish the Call Sheet
Section titled “Publish the Call Sheet”When the details are final, publish the call sheet. Publishing makes it the official version that can be shared with the team.
See Sending Call Sheets for how to distribute a published call sheet.
