Talent Onboarding

Talent onboarding is used to collect the information needed to create and manage a talent profile in Nexxus.

The onboarding process contains six steps:

  1. Personal Information
  2. Physical
  3. Talents
  4. Wardrobe
  5. Portfolio
  6. Performer Needs

Some fields may change depending on the selected sex.

The Personal Information step collects the talent’s basic information:

  • Stage Name
  • Phone Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Sex
  • Base Location
  • Years of Experience

The Physical step collects measurements and clothing sizes.

  • Height
  • Weight
  • Bust/Chest
  • Waist
  • Hips
  • Inseam
  • Outseam
  • Head Size
  • Shoe Size
  • Pant Size
  • Shirt Size

These fields are displayed when Male is selected:

  • Suit Jacket Size

These fields are displayed when Female is selected:

  • Dress Size
  • Bra Size

Talent can provide:

  • Tattoo Description
  • Link to Tattoo Photos

The Talents step records the talent’s skills, specialties, and areas of expertise.

At least one talent category must be selected.

Available categories include:

  • Actor
  • Model
  • Musician
  • Dancer
  • Host
  • Voice Actor
  • Specialty Artist
  • Costume & Wig Artist
  • Production & Crew
  • Administrative

Additional information can include:

  • Specialties and Skills
  • Languages
  • Specialty Equipment and Skills

Additional fields are displayed when specific equipment or skills are selected.

For example:

  • Stilts — Color of pant coverings
  • Aerial — Apparatuses owned
  • Fire Performance — Props used
  • Acrobatics — Acrobatic skills

The Wardrobe step records the clothing and equipment available to the talent.

The available wardrobe fields depend on the selected sex.

The default male wardrobe includes items such as:

  • White Button Down
  • Black Dress Pants
  • Black Dance Shoes
  • White Jeans
  • Black Button Down
  • Bow Tie
  • Blue Jacket
  • White Shoes / Sneakers

The default female wardrobe includes:

Wig & Hair Inventory

  • Pony Tail Fall — Curly
  • Pony Tail Fall — Straight
  • Short Black Bob
  • Brown Black Bob

Shoe Inventory

  • Black Padinis
  • Black Character Heels
  • Ballet Shoes
  • Tap Shoes — Black — Flat
  • Tap Shoes — Tan — Heels
  • Tan Padinis
  • Tan Character Heels
  • Point Shoes
  • Tap Shoes — Black — Heels

Undergarment Inventory

  • Nude Tights
  • Nude Fishnets — With Seam
  • Black Fishnets — With Seam
  • Tan Bra
  • Nude Cameo Leo
  • Nude Fishnets — No Seam
  • Black Fishnets — No Seam
  • Pink Tights
  • Black Bra
  • Black Leo

The Portfolio step contains the talent’s public-facing profile information.

This includes:

  • Profile Photo
  • Bio

Talent can provide links to their social media accounts:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • TikTok
  • YouTube
  • X

The Performer Needs step records information that may be important when working with the talent during an event.

Talent can specify dietary requirements such as:

  • Vegan
  • Vegetarian
  • Paleo
  • Gluten-Free
  • Lactose-Free
  • Other

Talent can specify allergies including:

  • Nuts
  • Shellfish
  • Dairy
  • Eggs
  • Soy
  • Wheat
  • Other

Talent can specify requirements such as:

  • Tea
  • Honey
  • Lemon
  • Warm Water
  • Other

Additional notes and special requests can also be provided.

After completing the onboarding steps, the talent is taken to a final review page.

The talent can review all submitted information before submitting the profile for approval.

After submission, the profile status changes to Pending Review and is reviewed by the team.

If the profile is approved, the talent receives an email notification and can begin using Nexxus.

If the profile is rejected, the reviewer must provide a reason or feedback explaining what needs to be corrected.

The talent can update the required information and submit the profile again for review.

Nexxus provides a generic talent onboarding structure designed to cover common talent information.

Before deploying Nexxus for a client, the onboarding process can be reviewed against the client’s existing workflow. Additional onboarding requirements may be configured when the client’s requirements differ significantly from the standard fields.
